DescriptionPaul Whitford had moved to Upper Hutt from Stokes Valley three years ago; there, he had been on the committee which had succeeded in getting such a pool built; early work on it and an overall view of the proposal had been pictured on February 14, and completion was expected in 12 months. The 'Leader' reported it open on June 18, 1985.
