DescriptionPrinted in the 'Leader' on April 17, 1984, with details of estimated costs for the bridge ($2 million) and the road from Silverstream to Moonshine ($6.17 million). Both items were the responsibility of the Ministry of Works and financed by the National Roads Board, which would also fund 75% of the $3.77 million cost of the section from Moonshine to Maoribank, for which the city council would be responsible.
