DescriptionPrinted on page 1 of the August 7, 1984 'Leader'. The council had previously insisted on 15 car parks being provide, but had then agreed to two, and would now accept just one.
One peculiarity of the picture; the artist has made the common mistake of thinking Main Street runs north-south; he has drawn the picture with the sun actually in the south-west, and the north wall in shadow.
