Details
DescriptionStuart Macaskill,deputy-chairman of the Wellington Regional Council, had written an accompanying article on development plans associated with the Te Marua lakes, and asked for comments. A major concern was an area west of the lakes, which had been designated a possible motorway route, ending either at a new road tunnel under the Rimutakas, or joining the hill road at the Pakuratahi River. A map of that route was printed.
