DescriptionA greyscale image was printed in the March 3, 1981 'leader, when he was appointed.
In 1951 he had been head prefect, captain of the First XV rugby team, and a member f the First XI cricket team. He had also taught at the college for a year, 1959.
He had been ordained in 1958, at St Mary's Church, Nelson,, and after six years as rector of Hato Paora College had joined St Pat's, Wellington, as a senior dean in 1977.
It was reprinted in the December 11, 1984 'Leader'.
The accompanying front-page article was headed "'Polecat morals' paraded before young people"; Father Curtain's criticism in his prizegiving address.
