A late-November poll votes 1553-720 against a tavern, and 1178-714 for trust control; 470 informal votes in that part of the poll were aimed against any tavern.
The 'industrial area' would be rail-reserved. It was later proposed as a site for a 'historic village' before becoming Heretaunga-Pinehaven District Community Council's office location.
