DescriptionPrinted in dark greyscale in the November 7, 1973 'Leader'. The original may have been black-and-white. Both black-and-white and greyscale scans are available; see the thumbnails below.
The 3000-square-foot (280-square-metre) extension also added a games area in the Incline bar; it was expected to be completed by Christmas.
The bar was advertised as new in the June 5, 1974 'Leader', in a half-page advertisement; this may have been the opening.
The article also mentioned that the Rimutaka Licensing Trust held the record for fastest time from incorporation to the opening of a tavern.
