DescriptionPrinted in the August 12, 1970 'Leader', at a time when the proposed site was the corner of Ward and Miro streets. A cropped negative version was printed on July 31, 1974.
Expected costs would be $50 000; a committee was named, and a Queen carnival would begin in October and run for six weeks. The building's area would be 6500 square feet (600 square metres; half of that would be the hall.
