DescriptionProbably drawin in black and white; printed in greyscale in the September 18, 1968 'Leader'.
A second version, printed in an April 1969 advertisement, is pure black-and-white, and much sharper. It does not include the three vehicles at left.
At this stage, the hall would run east-west behing the service block.
The hall would be 10 630 square feet (988 square metres) and could seat 1200; alternative layouts included a basketball court, five badminton courts or 40 indoor bowls mats.The ancillary block included a 2060-square-foot supper/lecture room which could seat 200 for lectures, a smaller meeting room, cloak rooms, toilets, kitchen, and changing rooms and store room.
