DescriptionPrinted in the August 30, 1067 'Leader'. North is at about 11 o'clock.
The caption said this was 'City No. 2' as proposed by Hutt County and mayors in the Wellington region, as agreed on May 12; on the back page there were articles by he mayor and a city councillor objecting to a single authoriy covering the Wellington region.
The whole Upper Hutt City area, a dark blob, extended along the south side of Fergusson Drive as far as Field Street, and included Chatsworth Road, but not Trentham Camp or the racecourse.
