DescriptionPrinted in the September 30, 1964 'Leader'.
The gymnasium would be 80 by 60 feet (24 x 18 metres); as large as Lower Hutt's Horticutural Hall. The building was greatly enlarged from the original project, and would cost £13 000 ($26 000). The Parent-Teacher Association was holding a fund-raising gala, and there would be an Education Department subsidy.
A much larger gymnasium was announced in 1980.
