DescriptionPrinted in the August 28, 1984 'Leader'.
At the time, Fergusson DDrive had four lanes during rush hours, ad the intersection was controlled by traffic lights; A motorist turning right to join Fergusson Drive was meant to join the lane neares to the centre, leaving the other lane clearfor left turns. It didn't always happen that way, hence the diagram and article.
There have been many changes in direction of side traffic, and the initial small roundabout which replaced the traffic lights was enlarged in 2017.
