DescriptionThis retirement village was announced in the June 17, 1986 'Leader'; it must have been superseded by Kowhai Court, which opened in January 1997.
Dennis Ryan, the developer, listed 60 independent units, 20 semi-independent units, and 60 supervised positions in a main block, plus a hobby and games room, shop and therapeutic pool. At the time, he seems to have envisaged more John Street frontage than Kowhai Court now has.
Curently listed (2017) as having 42 units, which are listed as for individual sale.
