A Google Maps view shows these buildings, which have all gone, and gives their street numbers. The site had been designated residential for some years by the time these photos were taken.

The bungalow was 17A; 17 was "DJ's Wrecking Yard"; Car wrecker David McNicholas was forbidden to use the site in December 1995.

Nexus Packaging, at No. 21, at right, supplied Coca-Cola with bottles, and moved to Refreshment Place. The Nexus mname in this image led to the identification of the site, via a 'Leader' image which referred to 'Nexus'. Last edited by: Don McLeod
