Shunting at Kaitoke station. A goods train carrying ballast is heading towards Cross Creek. Bill Hyslop is standing on the train awaiting a railcar to cross on the loop. Bill was signalman helping with the shunt and would have taken the tablet (railways communication system at the time) over to the driver. Photo: Val Hyslop 1950-54.'
