PhotographerRevelle JacksonDescriptionThe June 12, 1968 'Leader' described the event and published two photographs. The hall was an extension of the factory canteen, and built in 1967.

The February 19, 1980 'Leader' reported that Peter Dawe had joined the Police in 1949; became a sergeant at Wellington Central police station in 1957, and moved to the Police Training College in the same year. He became senior sergeant in 1963 and became senior sergeant in Upper Hutt in 1976; he had just been awarded a long-service medal.Date Taken8th June 1968 Last edited by: Don McLeod
