    By: Brian J. Pearce12th Apr 2014 8:56PMThis is Gordon James Hamilton, with his wife Patricia. Gordon was Clerk of the Course at the Hutt Park Raceway for four years, commencing in the late 1950s. From March 1965 - for many years after - he was Clerk of the Course at the Trentham Racecourse. Gordon was also a member of the Silverstream Volunteer Fire Brigade for over 25 years.
    He was the brother of William John "Jack" Hamilton, well known proprietor of Camp Road-based carrying company W.J. Hamilton Ltd.
