"[The] Edwards [family] lived next to us [at] 86 Queen St and went to our church...we used to call them grandma and grandfather Edwards....their son Oscar and wife Edith and children Valerie and Trevor also lived on same property and he eventually took over [the] shop calling it Oscar Edwards Shoe Shop....eventually they all moved to Levin and opened a shoe shop there where it was still named [the] same till a couple years ago even though the Edwards had moved many years back to Mt Roskill."
