DescriptionPrinted in greyscale in the ‘Leader’ on November 28, 1994, and repeated on on March 13, 1995.
He was Otago University's pro-vice-chancellor, assistant vice-chancellor (academic services), and Donald Reid professor of economics when he was appointed, and would take over on February 2, 1995.
He resigned unexpectedly in January 1998, and left at the end of the month; at the end of the previous year some staff had written to the council chairman expressing concerns with some aspects of his management.
