DescriptionThe trail was a Student Union project; each station was for a different exercise, with three degrees of difficulty.
Don was a top-rated rugby coach, but had not so far tackled the trail.
Part of this picture was printed on February 28, 1989; Don had tried to use the gymnasium, and been refused entry when he failed to produce a student ID card.
The issue was eventually resolved on the day, and Don had been issued a card for future use.
A greyscale image was printed in the 'Leader' on August 23, 1988.
The trail had cost $10 000, and the article said the city council had contributed $4000; the September 27 'Leader' corrected the mistake; it had been the CIT Council.
