DescriptionFirst printed in the 'Leader' on February 24, 1987, and used in weekly 'Always ready to help' advertising, cropped very close to his head, and showing only the very top of his tie. The detail in the background was replaced by plain grey.
The original figure based on the figures printed on August 18 was 57%, but the 'Leader' had used a telephoned figure of 1541 votes for him at Trentham School; the actual figure was 541.
