DescriptionThe choir's coming performance with the Schola Musica training orchestra in St Patrick's College would include Haydn's 'Toy Symphony' with local noteworthies playing the four toy instruments; Bill Jeffries was given the drum. The choir and drum do not in fact combine.
This otherwise-routine rehearsal was in the Upper Hutt College music room.
Recognised in the front row; tenor Dick Packard and alto Fay Thorpe, on his left.
Alwyn conducted the choir from April 1974 to the end of 1990.
